I want to teach English from home.
I have a little bit of experience teaching classes at home, and I wanted to show how it can be done.
Here are a few tips to help you teach an English class from the comfort of your own home.1.
Create a schedule and keep it up to date.
Create a schedule.
Make it a day-to-day plan that you can follow.
If you are going to be out of town for more than a few days, create a list of days you can come back.
Be prepared for a lot of questions.
Ask around to find out what people are looking for.
Have a few questions and then ask about them.
Don’t expect to do everything in one day.
Plan on a break.
It is better to take a break every once in a while and get it right than to miss a day.4.
If you can’t come in a certain time, don’t.
Don’t leave your room for hours, even when you know that your roommate is going to pick you up. 5.
Make sure your room is ready.
You can’t go wrong with an extra blanket, a few sheets of paper, and a book.
Be flexible about where you are staying.
Some students will come in and stay in your room until the next day.
Some will stay in the same room until after the class.
Keep it simple.
Keep things as simple as possible.
Have a safe place to stay.
Do not let yourself get lost.
Make a plan.
Give yourself a little time to work on it. 10.
Do your homework.
Write down everything you need to know about the topic of the class and the teacher.
Be a responsible teacher.
Make the schedule a priority and be there every single day.12.
Keep a journal.
A journal is an excellent way to keep track of your thoughts, feelings, and activities.
Keep your room clean.
Your room will be more comfortable if you can keep your room tidy and organized.14.
Always ask your teacher for permission before entering your room.
Make it fun.
Bring in some of your friends and make the class fun.16.
Know your own limits.
No matter how much you know, you may have a hard time doing certain things.
17. Have fun.
There is no such thing as too much fun.
