MILWAUKEE — A Fairfield, Wisconsin, high school teacher has been charged with two counts of teaching sex ed classes at his school, Fox 6 News has learned.
Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office Lt.
John Kull said in a statement the suspect is in custody.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 10.
According to a criminal complaint, Christopher G. Friese, 39, was charged with one count of teaching an English language course for which the educator did not have a license.
The charge carries a maximum penalty of one year in jail and a $250 fine.
Milwauke police said they received a tip on Monday and arrested Frieses family member, Christopher K. Fritze.
Kull said he was made aware of the incident by Fox 6 and that the investigation was ongoing.
Fox 6 reported that Friesee taught English at Fairfield’s Highland High School, and he is now a teacher at Fairmont.
